What an uncle Dave was when I were growing up and a very funny man,who was constantly pranking me, I remember one Xmas being at my Nans and it was snowing very heavily and he said to me if you take your shoes and socks off and walk to the end of the garden and back ill give you a pound me being about 12 yrs of age at the time and a pound being alit of money 47 yrs ago i followed his offer up so off I went,I got halfway down the garden and he locked the door and didn't let me back in till I almost had frost bite.
